As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Snapchat doesn’t provide a direct option to clear or remove users from your “Added Me” list. However, you can control who can send you snaps and view your stories by adjusting your privacy settings. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Snapchat:
- Launch the Snapchat app on your device.
- Access Your Profile:
- Tap on your Bitmoji or profile icon in the top left corner of the screen to access your profile.
- Open Settings:
- Tap the gear-shaped icon in the top right corner of your profile screen. This will take you to your settings.
- Privacy Settings:
- Scroll down and select “Privacy” under the “Who Can…” section.
- Adjust Privacy Settings:
- In the “Who Can…” section, you’ll find various privacy settings. Here are some options you can adjust:
- Contact Me: You can choose who can contact you on Snapchat. Options include “Everyone,” “My Friends,” or “Custom.” If you want to clear ignored requests, set this option to “Everyone” temporarily.
- View My Story: You can choose who can view your story. Similarly, you can set this to “Everyone” temporarily to allow those you’ve ignored to see your story.
- In the “Who Can…” section, you’ll find various privacy settings. Here are some options you can adjust:
- Save Changes:
- After adjusting your privacy settings as needed, make sure to tap the “Save” or “Save Changes” button to confirm your preferences.
By temporarily changing your privacy settings to “Everyone,” you allow users who have added you (even if you previously ignored them) to contact you or view your story. After they have done so, you can revert your privacy settings to your preferred level of privacy.
Please note that Snapchat’s features and interface may change over time, so it’s a good idea to refer to Snapchat’s official support or help center for the most up-to-date information on managing your Snapchat contacts and privacy settings.
